Dragonkind Threshing answers

The valley has choices. It does not have a verified universal answer key. Read the scene, check the evidence, and keep a record of what actually happened.

Scene reference: reported choices

A compact summary of the reviewed fan guide ↗, checked against original reports where available. These are leads, not guaranteed outcomes. Match the scene before using a choice.

Two GreensChoose deliberately, then keep the follow-up context. Both success and rejection are reported. No safe left/right guarantee.Fan guide / Not tested by us
Red below the treeThe guide recommends pursuing the Green instead of jumping immediately.Immediate jump is reported as a death.Fan guide / Not tested by us
Valley-center RedAffirm the bond, approach and touch the talon.Reported Red route; not independently tested here.Fan guide / Not tested by us
Meadow BrownFollow, commit, mount the tail and apply your weight.Reported Brown route. Meadow Blue remains unresolved.Fan guide / Not tested by us

Do not generalize the early lowered-eyes advice to every dragon or late bonding scene. The Black dragon guide documents a different final response.

What an answer guide can actually tell you

Players report both successful bonds and deaths. The community moderator says there is no specific method for Black or Blue. We have not run a logged-in test of these branches, so no choice on this site is labeled “tested by us”.

Use the scene reference above as a research checklist. Similar prompts can occur in different contexts; an instruction detached from its scene is not a reliable answer.

Eight scenes to document

These scene categories are cross-checked with the reviewed fan guide. They are a navigation aid, not a claim that every run contains exactly eight choices.

  • Entering the valley: note companions and starting direction.
  • First dragon: record color, prompt and response.
  • A cadet’s scream: distinguish investigating from the later intervention.
  • Forest fork: record whether the tallest-tree and shadow options appear.
  • Two Greens: keep the selection and follow-up together.
  • Red below the tree: do not merge it with the valley-center encounter.
  • Valley center: record the dragon’s response at every step.
  • Meadow: distinguish Orange, Brown and Blue sightings from bonds.

The two-Green scene: a useful example

In the masterpost, one player recalled choosing the left Green, being rejected, and then bonding the right after not backing away from its tail. Another reported being rejected after choosing between two Greens. These are recollections with different details, not a controlled answer key.

The practical lesson is to record the entire branch. A single line such as “choose left” drops the context needed to compare outcomes.

Deaths and repeat runs

The original masterpost contains failures involving another cadet’s dagger as well as dragonfire. “You always get a dragon” is therefore not supported by player accounts. Several players report a four-hour wait. Check the official screen before starting your own reminder.

Do not create extra accounts or use email tricks to evade a game restriction. Our timer only keeps time in this browser; it does not change the official game.

How to build a reproducible attempt record

  • Write down the visible prompt, not just your interpretation.
  • Record choices in order, including branches that appeared or disappeared.
  • Separate sighting, rejection, death and successful bond.
  • Keep game screenshots privately; remove email addresses before sharing.
  • Compare multiple full runs before claiming a causal rule.

Common questions

Can I copy answers to guarantee a Black dragon? No verified guarantee is available in the sources reviewed.

Does lowering your eyes always work? The supplied brief recommends it in early encounters, but also contains contradictory late-encounter advice. We do not publish it as a universal rule.

Are these routes officially documented? The entrance is official; route observations are community material. Our own gameplay sample is currently zero.
